Montanans need to speak up to encourage the BLM and the Department of the Interior to protect public lands and wildlife habitat in one of America's last and largest areas of river-to-prairie ecosystems.
The Lewistown Resource Management Plan Draft came out mid-May and will have an open comment period until August 15th. Given the “Energy Dominance” mandate, the draft Lewistown plan prioritizes speculative leasing and development over all other uses of this public land.
If you enjoy hunting, fishing, wildlife watching, or recreating in any part of the Lewistown RMP area, or you rely on lands within the RMP area for your livelihood we encourage you to come join the Montana Wildlife Federation to write comments on the Lewistown Resource Management Plan.
