Daniel Kosel Music
Daniel Kosel is a Seattle born, Montana raised recording artist, songwriter, guitarist, poet, vocalist, and touring musician whose genre is called Crues Music; an eclectic blend of Country, Rock, and Blues influenced by artists including Stevie Ray Vaughan, Dwight Yoakam, Merle Haggard, ZZ Top, AC/DC, and more. Daniel’s emotionally intelligent lyricism, soulful vocals, and sultry guitar stylings present onstage in a powerful, intimate way. His life poetry and music organically explore life perspectives, help overcome ignorance, enlighten the prejudiced, and light healing pathways for those who know grief, trauma, pain, addiction, anxiety, depression, and sadness. Daniel first writes and builds poems and then develops them into songs typically leaning on inspirations gathered from traveling and living in the beautiful ecosystems of Montana, Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and beyond. Daniel says, "I am not Charlie Pride, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Merle Haggard, or Angus Young but I'd bet they'd like my music. I witnessed the sweat rolling down Stevie Ray Vaughan’s face as he bent the guitar strings and poured out Blues from his very soul, and I reverently listened to the Country wisdom of Merle Haggard as he captivated audiences. Each time I step onstage, I blend language, guitar, and musicality that lights up emotions from deep within and hopefully creates a bridge between hearts
