Montana Bale Trail: What the Hay?!

7:30 am to 10 am: Mason Breakfast, Masonic Temple

• Food and Craft Vendors
• Dining at Tall Boys Tavern or Gramma Ruby's Cafe
• Hay Maze
• Utica Women's Club Famous Homemade Pies & Quilt Raffle

What started in 1989 as a joke between two local ranching families has grown to be forty or more bale sculptures along the highway connecting Hobson, Utica, and Windham, Montana. This event has also included a vast vendor fair, which used to take place in Utica, but has moved now to Central Avenue in Hobson. Visitors can expect, in addition to the drive through the trail, to shop with Montana artists and crafters, take in local food experiences, and find activities for their children.
