Montana Council Pinewood Derby

The spirit of the derby is that it is a scout/parent project where we have FUN, explore physics of car building and learn sportsmanship from each other. So please let this be a scout/parent project, not a parent/parent project – there will be an “open” race for parents and businesses. If you want to work on the aesthetics, the science, the manufacturing tools, whatever, that is great, but make sure your scout does more work on the car than you.

All cars registering by mail must be sent to the Central District Scout Office, 505 W Main Street, Suite # 303 Lewistown, MT 59457. The cut-off date for registering is May 8th.

Prizes: Trophies will be given out for 1st – 3rd place for Lions/Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelo’s and 1st – 10th overall. Open class will receive trophies for 1st – 3rd.
