Rally to Defend our Democracy & Celebrate 250 Years.
“We The People” will rally to celebrate the United States 250th Anniversary 5pm Friday July 3 in front of Fergus County Courthouse in Lewistown. We’ll commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
You’ll hear clips of our Declaration of Independence, Preamble to the Constitution and Bill of Rights, as laid out by our forefathers, establishing our liberty, our rights and the rule of law. We’ll listen to patriotic music and songs as we mark the occasion. No cost, no registration needed. Bring your flags and signs, or pick up your free American flag at the rally. Limited number of free “Resist Tyranny” T- shirts will also be available at the rally. This rally is non-partisan and is organized by a group of concerned citizens, and has no political, nonprofit or for-profit affiliations or financial sponsorships. It has no connection to the festivities planned by the City of Lewistown and Downtown Association.
