An Evening With Elephants
It's that time of year again! Please join us at Central Feed Grilling Company Friday, March 6, 2020 from 6-8pm.
Chrissy Pratt, Lewistown native, Animal Behavior Specialist and Executive Director of Elephation, works in developing countries to reframe the the working relationship between human and elephant through positive reinforcement training and high standards of welfare. Elephation's mission is to improve the lives of captive elephants and their caretakers.
A delicious dinner including vegetarian broccoli alfredo, garlic bread, green salad, and dessert from MT Cheesecake Company will be served, along with a presentation highlighting Chrissy's adventures working with elephants and caretakers in India, Nepal, Thailand, and Myanmar. A cash bar will be included, along with live entertainment from local resident Ty Robertson. Unique elephant photography and local handicrafts from India, Thailand, and Myanmar will be available for sale.
Tickets are $50 each and available at Lewistown Art Center. All proceeds will benefit Elephation's ongoing work to improve the lives of captive elephants and their caretakers by fostering relationships built on mutual trust, respect, and freedom of choice.
