Fulbright Farmstead
Fulbright Farmstead offers a one-of-a-kind farmstay experience just outside Lewistown at our historic sheepwagon — the original tiny home of the American West.
Built in the late 1800s and early 1900s, sheepwagons were home to sheepherders as they moved their flocks across Montana and the West. Ours has been lovingly restored while preserving all its original character and charm. Inside, you’ll find a comfortable full-size bed for two, with camp mats available for kids who want to join the adventure.
Perfect for families or curious travelers, this unique stay lets you experience life on a working Montana farm. We raise cattle, dairy sheep, and chickens, and we’re happy to give personalized tours, let kids hold baby animals (when available), and even show you around our working blacksmith shop.
If you prefer quiet relaxation, Ackley Lake is just four miles away — ideal for fishing, boating, or simply soaking in the peaceful Montana countryside.
Whether you’re eager to learn where your food comes from or just want to unwind under the big sky, we’d love to host you. Come stay awhile, ask questions, and make memories at Fulbright Farmstead.
