Rebecca Sobin in the Wilkins Gallery
Experience Rebecca Sobin's incredible oil-and-cold-wax creations at the Lewistown Art Center through the month of August, beginning Friday, August 7 at 6 PM for a ZOOM reception!
Sobin is a Montana-based artist who works in both photography and painting, driven by an intuitive understanding of color and form.
"As an artist, Sobin's mission is to create a span that traverses both the internal and external landscape. She wants people to see and feel the connectivity from the self, the inner landscape, to the earth, terra firma - the outer landscape through the visual conduit of color, share, gesture, motion. She sees art as a way to connect the sense of self and the environment we live in." - Sobin's biography.
This exhibition will be on view through the month of August in the Margie Wilkins Gallery at the Lewistown Art Center, open Tuesday through Friday from 10-5 and Saturdays from 10-4.
