Limekiln Trailhead
Limekiln Trailhead is a recreation site in the Judith Mountains maintained by the BLM with cooperation of private landowners. The trailhead offers access to BLM trails close to Lewistown. It is also close to the Judith Mountain Lodge.

Limekiln Overlook Trail
This trail treats you to a view of Lewistown and the surrounding countryside at the top.
Length: 4.5 miles out-and-back

Burnett Peak/New Year Peak Trail (Limekiln Loop)
This loop can be done either clockwise or counter-clockwise. When hiking counterclockwise, the first 1.5 miles are uphill and challenging, the middle 3 miles are mostly flat and scenic, and the final 1.5 miles are downhill.
Length: 7 miles round-trip
Elevation Gain: 1,292 ft
Difficulty: Moderate

Both hiking trails can be biked (singletrack). There are some great sections of fast downhill.

Horseback Riding
Either trail may be used for horseback riding. Water for horses is available in the creek near the trailhead.
