Ubuntu Unity Center

The Ubuntu Unity Center is a 4000 sqft building located in Lewistown, MT just 3 blocks from main street. It is founded on the principles of contribution and collaboration. We strive to start local community projects on these principals: to help reduce costs of living, provide healthier living options, provide engaging learning environments, provide safe environments to share ideas and dialog, provide ways to sustain artistic expression, explore and develop emerging new technologies, and anything we can do to improve the lives of the community.

Lewistown Community Labyrinth Garden

The public garden is for everyone to visit a seven-circuit flower maze. A labyrinth is an ancient symbol that relates to wholeness. It combines the imagery of the circle and the spiral into a meandering but purposeful path. The Labyrinth represents a journey to our own center and back again out into the world.

Central Montana Community Cupboard

We feed the hungry of Central Montana. The Central Montana Community Cupboard exists to collect and distribute food to families and individuals facing emergency situations. Our policy is to provide adequate food for three days sustenance. Our friends can use this assistance up to six times each six month period.

Lewistown Parks and Recreation and Civic Center

The Lewistown Park and Recreation Department oversees all 10 of the city parks, along with Fish Hatchery Park, East Fork Reservoir, Hanson Creek, Frog Ponds, Brewery Flats, Turner Center, the trail system, D'autremont complex, and the Lewistown Aquatic Complex. It also helps with the ice skating rink and the Big Spring Skatepark and is the place to go if you want to rent or reserve shelters at Frank Day Park, the Fish Hatchery, and the Turner Center.

Central Montana Jaycees

The Central Montana Jaycees are a community-centered non-profit organization focusing on "Building Tomorrow's Leaders Today." They have a grant program that helps support other non-profits and are dedicated to fostering personal growth and civic leadership among people ages 18-40.
