Join us for our 57th Rodeo Season on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at 1:30 p.m., at the Judith Basin Fairgrounds for the PRCA Rodeo and the Premier Events of Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Team Roping, Tie-Down Roping, Ladies Barrel Racing & Bull Riding. The Stock is provided by J Bar J Rodeo. Cheer on the kid's entered in the Mutton Busting contest held during rodeo intermission. Make sure to get your tickets for the Gun Raffle - drawing will be held following Ladies Barrel racing!
Stampede Music Fest
On Saturday at 3:00 p.m., join us at the Fairgrounds for the Free Stampede Music Fest featuring live music by "Wylie & Erik Gustafson" that is sure to entertain the entire family. Beginning at 4:00 p.m., the Kids Stickhorse event with Miss Rodeo Montana is sure to get the young ones primed for the rest of the weekend’s events.
Quick Finish Art & Auction
Come join us and enjoy the Quick Finish Art & Auction action! These artists have only one hour to complete their painting, sculptures and framing and then the Live Auction begins. The Stampede Quick Draw has become one of the most popular in the Northwest. Each piece will be sold immediately following the completion of the Quick Finish. Funds from the auction are used for numerous community projects in Judith Basin County. This event starts at 5:30 p.m. and will be held at the Judith Basin County Fairgrounds located in Stanford, MT.
Street Dance featuring "Wylie & Erik Gustafson"
Get your dancing shoes and boots shined up! The Waterhole Saloon will be sponsoring the Street Dance during Rodeo Weekend. After the Stampede Quick Finish Art & Auction, the Waterhole Saloon in Stanford will be hosting a Street Dance beginning at 8:00p.m. Jump in when you get your groove on and dance along to the sounds of the "Wylie & Erik Gustafson" and special guest "Leigh Guest."
JB Fit Bull Run & Bike Half Marathon
This scenic course is a fast and easy 13.1 miles of county maintained gravel roads with the last mile paved. There will be water stations along the way as well as one with icy towels free to participants if the weather is hot. We welcome Single Runners and Bikers to run and bike the Half Marathon or you can form a Two Person team to do a Run/Run or Run/Bike Combination split. We have added a Duathlon this year as well.
